Updated list of Azerbaijani political prisoners has 94 persons
The working group, consisting of rights defenders, NGO activists, journalists and lawyers of Azerbaijan, has released an updated list of the country's political prisoners. It has 139 persons; 94 of them have been recognized as political prisoners; the cases of other 45 are being monitored.

Relatives of missing Dagestanis blame law enforcers for inaction
Participants of the rally in Makhachkala have stated that there is no answer from power agents about the whereabouts of their missing relatives-residents of Dagestan; they called on state officials and law enforcers to obey the law, and on the republic's women to unite around the problem of kidnappings and extrajudicial executions.

Nesterenko, Deputy Ataman of Anapa, arrested until December 12
The Pervomaisky District Court of Krasnodar has satisfied the investigator's petition to arrest Nikolai Nesterenko, the Ataman of the Cossack unit of Anapa, suspected of a major fraud with a land plot. Nesterenko has challenged his arrest at the Territorial Court.

Authorities treat explosion in Sukhumi as terror act
The explosion on the territory of the Abkhazian TV and Radio Company was an attempted terror act, said Aslan Kobakhiya, the head of Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Abkhazia. According to the "Nuzhnaya Gazeta", policemen found photos of building located in central streets of Sukhumi on the person, killed by the explosion.

Arsen Pavlov, Chechen War veteran, assassinated in Donetsk

At least eight armed incidents occur in area of Derbent since early 2016
According to the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot", the armed clash taking place on October 16 in Derbent during the counterterrorist operation (CTO) has become at least the eighth armed incident in the area during the year of 2016. Volgograd pensioner asks to repair her apartment after communal accident
Since May, Valentina Trostyanskaya, a co-author of the panorama project "Battle of Stalingrad", has to stay in a dilapidated apartment, which was flooded after a communal accident, when a pipe burst. The pensioner requests to carry out a complete repair of her apartment; however, the management company has organized only whitewashing of the walls and the ceiling. Neighbours of Valentina Trostyanskaya also suffering damage from the accident, is now suing the company.
