Residents of Ingushetia report kidnapping of large-family mother
An application has arrived to the human rights organization "Mashr" and the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" from Ashet Daurbekova, a resident of Plievo village, Nazran District of Ingushetia, about kidnapping of her daughter-in-law, mother of four children.

FSB: militants liquidated in Ekazhevo were involved in Karabulak terror act
The militants liquidated as a result of the operation conducted in the Ingush village of Ekazhevo have been identified. According to the Federal Security Bureau (FSB), they are Korigov, Adam Magomedovich and Tsaloev, Ahmed Alikovich.

Russian militaries ban doctors to examine Perevi residents
Georgian doctors were stopped by Russian militaries at a block post and could not get into Perevi village, Sachkher District, where they wanted to conduct medical examination of the villagers; therefore, they were forced to do it and spread medicines in the neighbouring village of Dzhriya, controlled by the Georgian party.

LDPR demands bringing terrorists' relatives to material liability
Today, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, vice-speaker of the Russian State Duma from the faction of the Liberal-Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) and the group of MPs from this party brought into the State Duma draft amendments to the law "On Counteracting Terrorism", suggesting to impose legislative responsibility for the damage caused by terror acts on terrorists' family members who live together with them.

Terrorist-suicide-bomber blows herself up in Ingushetia
In the course of a special operation in Ekazhevo village, Nazran District of Ingushetia, a woman suicide-bomber rushed to the militia cordon and fatally wounded a militiaman from her pistol. This was reported by law enforcement bodies of Ingushetia.

FIDH Forum participants worry that frequently under pretext of war on terror human rights are restrained

Kidnapped resident of Dagestan found in custody in Shali ROVD in Chechnya
Lawyer Ruslan Datsaev from the Dagestan city of Khasavyurt managed to meet Zakhar Labazangadjiev, a resident of settlement Novaya Tsoloda, Akhvakh District of Dagestan, who was kidnapped on March 31 by unknown armed persons from his own house. The meeting took place at the temporary custody facility (the so-called "ISO") of the Shali ROVD in Chechnya. The "Caucasian Knot" was told today about it by Mr Datsaev.

Kadyrov asserts Umarov is incapable, people abroad worry for safety of Sochi Olympiad
Some experts believe that Dokku Umarov, leader of North-Caucasian underground, has managed to unite Islamic rebels and organized their respective infrastructure; however, in the opinion of President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, Umarov is incapable and "dies from famine." Moscow City Court refused to toughen punishment to Ryno and Skachevskiy
Today, the Moscow City Court has found the leaders of a skinhead grouping Arthur Ryno and Pavel Skachevskiy guilty of new episodes of nationalism-motivated attacks; however, the court decided not to toughen the punishment appointed in the first verdict - 10 years of imprisonment. The verdict is based on the jurymen's conclusion.

Case on attempt on Isa Yamadaev in Moscow sent to court
The Chief Investigatory Department of the Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office (ICPO) of the Russian Federation has sent the case about the attempt on July 28, 2009, on Isa Yamadaev, brother of ex-MP Ruslan Yamadaev and the ex-commander of the "Vostok" battalion Sulim Yamadaev. This was reported by the ICPO. According to the investigation, the attempter on Yamadaev was Khavazh Yusupov, 24, a native of Chechnya.

Six oppositionists detained in Georgia
Today in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, two clashes happened of the opposition united into the "National Council" with the police. Oppositionists, while asserting that the authorities exert pressure on printing houses, tried to enter the sealed up building of the printing house "Tbilisilebi" aiming to take their propaganda literature, which was prepared for the local elections appointed on May 30.
