On December 30-January 5, 2014, 26 persons fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus
During the week of December 30-January 5, 2014, at least 26 persons suffered in the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. Of them, 16 persons were killed, and 10 persons were wounded. These are the results of calculations made by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

Azerbaijani youth create "Street Book Movement"
In Azerbaijan, a group of young activists has announced the creation of the "Street Book Movement" (SBM) with the aim to promote reading and create a free available book network in the country's capital and regions. Volgograd residents protest against construction near their house
