Investigators question Boris Nemtsov's son within his father's murder case

All the children of Boris Nemtsov officially asked investigators to recognize them victims in the case of the murder of the politician. In this regard, the investigators questioned Ekaterina Odintsova, a former common-law wife of Boris Nemtsov, and his son Anton.

Boris Nemtsov was shot and killed in Moscow on February 27. Five persons, including Zaur Dadaev, Anzor and Shagid Gubashev, Khamzat Bakhaev and Tamerlan Eskerkhanov, were detained on suspicion of involvement in the murder. They would not plead guilty.

"I believe that by the end of this week, Zhanna Nemtsova, Dina Nemtsova, Anton Nemtsov, and Sophia Nemtsova will be recognized as victims in the criminal case. This week, the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) started inviting them for questioning," said Vadim Prokhorov, an advocate representing the interests of Boris Nemtsov's children.

According to Vadim Prokhorov, on March 30, the ICRF questioned Ekaterina Odintsova, the mother of Dina Nemtsova and Anton Nemtsov. And today, Zhanna Nemtsova, the eldest daughter of Boris Nemtsov, is to be questioned by the ICRF, the "Interfax" reports.

According to the advocate, the mothers of the minor children of Boris Nemtsov can be granted the status of victims, and such a status gives the opportunity to get acquainted with the case materials and file claims against the defendants, the "Interfax" reports.

Let us remind you that on March 16, on air of the "Rain" TV Channel, Zhanna Nemtsova stated that she had no access to the materials of the case of her father's murder, since she was not recognized as a victim in the case. Meanwhile, Zhanna Nemtsova has expressed her intention to submit the relevant documents. She has also claimed she does not believe in the version of the religious motives of her father's murder.
