On October 14, the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) will begin considering the complaint lodged by victims of the terror act in Beslan School No. 1, said Susanna Dudieva, the Chair of the Public Committee "Mothers of Beslan". According to her story, today, on the 10th anniversary of the tragedy, the limitation time for bringing those responsible to justice expires; however, no objective investigation has ever been carried out.

During the week of August 25-31, 2014, at least 3 persons were killed in the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. No wounded persons were reported. These are the results of calculations made by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources. The art project of Yekaterinburg painters named "Beslan", dedicated to the victims of the 2004 terror act in North Ossetia, was opened on September 1 inMoscow and will last in the Marat Gelman's Gallery at the Winery till the evening of September 5. Besides, within the public campaign "Remember Beslan!", by the anniversary of the tragedy, activist published brochures containing the data of the independent investigation into the circumstances of the tragedy.

Today, the town of Beslan has started a three-day mourning event to mark the tenth anniversary of the terror act committed on September 1, 2004. More than 3000 people came to the yard of the School No. 1 to commemorate the victims of the terror act.

In Chechnya, the markets raise prices for some food products. According to the Chechen Department of the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS), over the recent week, prices for meat, sausages and dairy products rose by 5-20 percent. Local residents have expressed their concern about the above price growth, and they are afraid of food shortages.

In Sochi, Lavrikov family members have challenged the decision of the Krasnodar Regional Court to grant the request of the Sochi city administration to transfer the Lavrikov family members to "Olympic" housing. The appeal has been filed against the court's decision to evict four adults from the dilapidated house to a one-room apartment in a building for "Olympic" settlers.
