Policemen discover ammunition in Makhachkala resident's car
While checking a car of a resident of the Dagestani capital, policemen discovered 40 rounds for a submachine gun and two grenades.
In the evening of November 4, the policemen stopped a VAZ-2107 car belonging to a resident of Makhachkala.
"As a result of the inspection, an F-1 grenade and 40 rounds for a submachine gun were found in a passenger compartment of a Lada car. The policemen searched a 28-year old driver of the car and seized one more grenade," reports the website of the Chief Department for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
A criminal case was instituted against the detainee under Part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal storage, transportation or carrying of weapons).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 17, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime was introduced in the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan. During the special operation, law enforcers killed four men, including Rasul Sardarov and Alkhas Sardarov. They were wanted on suspicion of killing the Imam of the mosque in the village of Novy Kurush in Dagestan.
On October 23, it was reported that four persons were detained on suspicion of aiding and abetting militants in the village of Novy Kurush. According to a local resident, a weapon was found during the search of one of the detainees.
