One law enforcement officer perished and ten of his colleagues were wounded during a special operation aimed to search a militant conducted in Chechnya since September 24. This was reported by the Investigatory Department (ID) for Chechnya of the Russian ICPO (Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office). Local experts believe that the large-scale operation was a sort of Kadyrov's response to the militants' attack on Tsentoroi village, Kurchaloi District, in late August.
