Igor Trunov: policemen in Moscow were to detain Zelimkhan Mazaev, wanted for Sulim Yamadaev's murder
Actions of representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), who failed to detain a person put in the Interpol's wanted lists, represented a clear violation of the Russian law. This was reported by lawyer Igor Trunov and Gennady Gudkov, the State Duma deputy, Colonel of the FSB in reserve, when they commented on the fact that the man, who was put in the wanted lists for Sulim Yamadaev's murder, came to the police to take a pistol found in Moscow, and the police officers failed to detain him.

After finding out the suspect's real name representatives of the investigation state that the motive for the murder was Temirkhanov's personal revenge for his relative who perished during combat operations in Chechnya.

The funeral of the poet Ruslan Akhtakhanov killed in Moscow was conducted in the village of Znamenskoye of the Nadterechny District of Chechnya, where he was born. Opinions of the representatives of the Chechen Diaspora on the causes of murder have differed: some people explain it by the nationalists' revenge for Colonel Yuri Budanov's murder; the others blame representatives of the very Chechen Diaspora.

In Moscow, a waiter of the restaurant "Sheikh's Treasure" found a pistol. It was revealed that the pistol belonged to Zelimkhan Mazaev, who was put in international wanted list by the United Arab Emirates for the murder of Sulim Yamadaev, Hero of Russia. However, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), Zelimkhan Mazaev is not listed in the Russian wanted lists. This was reported by a source from the law enforcement bodies.

According to a source in law enforcement bodies, the same persons who had organized the murder of ex-colonel of the Russian army Yury Budanov may be involved in the murder of Chechen poet Ruslan Akhtahanov. Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that Ruslan Akhtahanov, a well-known Chechen cultural figure, member of Russian Union of Writers, laureate of Artem Borovik prize, was killed in Moscow about this midnight.

Spartak Gogniev, a football player from the "Krasnodar" FC, who was injured during a match between the youth teams of the "Terek" and the "Krasnodar" FCs in the city of Grozny, declared no more claims against the Chechen club.

The fans were gathered at the unofficial football match between the second combined teams of Russia and Lithuania which passed off on November, 12, in Grozny by enforceable law. This is stated by residents of the town working in government-financed organizations of the republic, students and pupils of general senior school. In spite of this, about half of the tribunes for fans were empty during the match.
