Today, 200 persons attended an unsanctioned action held in Pugachov, a town in the Saratov Region, demanding to deport natives of Northern Caucasus. After the protest action, the local residents tried to block the highway Saratov-Samara, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reports.

At the temporary accommodation centre (TAC) "Promzhilbaza" in the city of Karabulak, hunger-strikers have temporarily stopped their protest action after on July 6 they were visited by Yunus-Bek Evkurov, Acting Head of Ingushetia, who promised them that the problems of each participant of the protest action would be considered on an individual basis.

Health state of persons who went on hunger strike at the temporary accommodation centre (TAC) "Promzhilbaza" in Karabulak deteriorates. This was reported by a woman, who took part in the hunger strike. Human rights activists, who visited women on hunger strike, have proposed to stop the protest action and to use the legal ways to solve the problem in each specific case.

The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has ruled on the application about disappearance in 2000 of Beslan Baisultanov, a resident of Chechnya, and ordered Russia to pay 64,000 euros to three of his female relatives. This is stated in the today's decision of the Court after consideration of the case "Baisultanova et al versus Russia".
