In Georgia, four persons were detained on the fact of bribing public officials. One of those cases involves Aleko Tabatadze, a candidate for MP from the "Georgian Dream", the block of Bidzina Ivanishvili. This was stated by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Georgia.

In Azerbaijan, the investigation into the case against Nigyar Yagublu, an activist of the youth organization of the oppositional "Musavat" Party, is being conducted with procedural violations, and the arrest of the oppositionist is of political nature.
