Forced demolition of houses has begun in the village of "Burevestnik".

The bailiffs have begun demolishing houses in the village of "Burevestnik" in the Tuapse district, whose residents have asked the Constitutional Court and the President of Russia to protect them from the seizure of the plots they have owned since the 1990s.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", residents of the "Burevestnik" cooperative in the village of Olginka in the Krasnodar region recorded a video appeal to the President of Russia and the head of the Investigative Committee, in which they complained that the authorities of the Tuapse district and the prosecutor's office are seeking the demolition of 50 cottages in the village, and the courts have ruled in their favor. In early September, they appealed to the Constitutional Court of Russia asking for protection from the seizure of the plots they have owned since the 1990s.

In the village of Olginka, forced demolition of houses has begun in the area of the "Burevestnik" cooperative, writes "Morning South" on October 10.

In the 2000s, plots that previously had the status of specially protected natural areas were transferred for residential development into private ownership. The case materials on unauthorized constructions mention 65 land plots and 54 owners. The bailiff service confirmed that the enforcement documents provide for the dismantling of illegally constructed objects. The activities are being carried out in accordance with Article 107 of the Federal Law "On Enforcement Proceedings".

Mass seizure of land plots in the Krasnodar region is not uncommon; it is related, in particular, to the case of fraud with the lands of the Sochi National Park: 11,066 land plots were seized, including plots allocated by the authorities to large families, and then the courts began to deprive owners of their property rights to these lands en masse, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "The struggle of Sochi residents for lands in the national park". In January 2025, the Constitutional Court ruled that the authorities must either retain the land plot that has fallen within the boundaries of the National Park for its owner or provide compensation if there is no evidence that the plot was acquired dishonestly.
