Today, in Krasnodar, several opposition rallies to mark the Day of Russia were held simultaneously. All events, initiated by supporters of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (the LDPR), the "Spravedlivaya Rossiya" (Fair Russia), the "Left-Wing Front" and the "Yabloko" Parties, were sanctioned by the city authorities.

In Volgograd, during the opposition rally, held on June 12 by the Regional Branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (the CPRF), pensioner Galina Tikhenko was detained. According to law enforcement officers, the woman, who came with posters reading: "For Honest Government", "No Police State", etc., had to coordinate them with the organizers of the event.

Today, in Yerevan, the administrative court pronounced the verdict of guilty in the case against producer Tigran Khzmalyan, the fourth activist of the initiative group 'Brigade'' to protect the Mashtots Park. He was fined for the amount of 50,000 drams.

During the period of May 30 to June 8, 99 Sochi construction sites were visited by representatives of the mobile groups to stop unauthorized constructions. Following the results of the visits, construction works on 18 sites were suspended.
