Semender residents oppose construction of dogs’ shelter
Residents of the Makhachkala settlement of Semender have held an action with a demand from officials to abandon the project of building an animal shelter in the territory of an abandoned farm. The shelter will be located close to residential buildings, they have stated.

Guseinov’s defence states contradictions in case against blogger to ECtHR’s decisions
The case of defaming the police by the blogger Mekhman Guseinov cannot be a criminal one, since, according to the case law of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), defamation cases are considered in the civil process.
