In Sochi, events in memory of fallen defenders of Fatherland gather about 1500 people
On February 23, more than 1000 people came to the Zavokzalny District to lay flowers at the memorial to soldiers who died in World War II. RWB condemns Azerbaijani authorities for persecuting journalists
Elchin Ismailly has joined a list of journalists arrested in Azerbaijan "on trumped-up charges," says the statement of the international organization "Reporters Without Borders" (RWB). Kuban farmers accuse law enforcers of disrupting press conference

Authorities refuse to give body of Grozny resident, killed at police station, out to his relatives
The body of Islam Lorsanov, killed on January 25 at a police station in Grozny after he shelled policemen, has not been not given out to his relatives, despite the promises of law enforcers.
