Advocates treat Aliev's arrest as ECHR violation
The defence does not agree with the decision of the Baku Court of Appeal (BCA), which left in custody Mekhman Aliev, the director of the news agency "Turan". Advocates announced the intention to file a complaint against the Mekhman Aliev's arrest to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR).

Sochi court refuses to cancel fine imposed on Gvashev
The Lazarevskoe District Court of Sochi has re-examined the case on holding a prayer on the Adygs’ Remembrance Day and upheld the administrative fine imposed on Ruslan Gvashev, a Circassian activist. The judgement will be appealed against, as the court has violated the activist's right to defence, said Marina Dubrovina, a Gvashev's advocate.
