ECtHR awards compensation to Jehovah’s Witnesses* from two regions of Southern Russia for their disrupted meetings
The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) recognized the disruption of meetings of Jehovah’s Witnesses* by law enforcers in Kabardino-Balkaria and the Rostov Region as a violation of the right to freedom of religion and awarded compensation to the complainants in the amount of 7500 euros.

Rostov court obliges Catholic priest to leave Russia
In Rostov-on-Don, the court of appellate instance has rejected the complaint lodged against the decision to expel Mikhal Mzhyglud, the rector of the Catholic Church in Novocherkassk, out of Russia. The Polish priest has violated the immigration legislation, which could pose a threat to the security of the state and people's lives, the court has ruled.
