As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, from August 13 to 24, divers raised 2,022 bags of fuel oil from the seabed in Anapa, the Kuban operational headquarters stated. The regional authorities emphasized that the cleanup of the seabed in the village of Dzhemete has already entered "the final stage".

From August 25 to September 3, 337 bags of fuel oil were raised from the seabed in Anapa, the Kuban operational headquarters reported today in its Telegram channel.

"In the village of Dzhemete Anapa is completing work to clean the seabed from oil products. On September 3, divers in the pier area collected and pulled 15 bags of oil-contaminated soil to the shore," the publication says.

Recall that on December 15, 2024, two tankers with fuel oil sank in the Kerch Strait. As a result, a crew member of one of the tankers died.
