Daudov received the rank of lieutenant general

Chairman of the Chechen government Magomed Daudov has been awarded the military rank of lieutenant general.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, on August 14, 2023, Putin awarded Magomed Daudov the special rank of major general of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and on April 16, 2024 - a similar military rank.

By presidential decree, Magomed Daudov has been awarded the military rank of lieutenant general, Ramzan Kadyrov reported today on his Telegram channel. "This significant event serves as recognition of his long-term, dedicated and purposeful service," the publication says.

Daudov himself thanked the head of the republic in his Telegram channel. "I am sincerely grateful to you for the warm words of congratulations in connection with the assignment to me by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of the military rank of the highest officer of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation - lieutenant general! I would like to especially note that all my achievements would not have been possible without your high trust, fraternal support, wise advice and instructions!" - he wrote, after which he also briefly thanked Vladimir Putin and the director of the Russian National Guard Viktor Zolotov.

Recall that Magomed Daudov held the post of chairman of the Chechen parliament until May 15, 2024, and then headed the government of the republic. Daudov's name has been repeatedly mentioned in connection with human rights violations in Chechnya, as indicated in the biographical information prepared by the "Caucasian Knot".

It should be noted that high positions in Chechnya are occupied by people who are especially close to Ramzan Kadyrov. Almost the entire system of governance in Chechnya is tied personally to Ramzan Kadyrov and people close to him.
