Since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, the authorities have confirmed the information about at least 150 perished natives of Dagestan.

Three religious activists detained in Sumgait for writing on a wall in support of the Talekh Bagirzade’s demands were sentenced to ten days of imprisonment under the charge of petty hooliganism. Human rights defenders called such a punishment too harsh.

29.7% of the population of Ingushetia lives below the poverty line; it follows from the data of the "Rosstat" (the Russian Federal State Statistics Service).
