FSB officer shot dead in Khasavyurt
According to a source from local investigating bodies, today in Khasavyurt a senior lieutenant of the Dagestani Department of the Russian FSB (Federal Security Bureau) was attacked.

Makhachkala: journalist Gasan Gadjiev is detained
In Makhachkala, Gasan Gadjiev, a local resident, has been detained. About a month ago, he started to cooperate with the "Caucasian Knot" as a correspondent. Prior to Gasan Gadjiev was brought to the Centre for Combating Extremism (CCE) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan, his apartment was searched. Suspect is charged with murdering Dagestani resident in Moscow
In Moscow, investigators have filed a murder charge against a native of Dagestan suspected of killing a woman in Yuzhnoe Butovo District. Her body with cut-off limbs was found on November 23. This was reported by a source from the Moscow law enforcement agencies.

During the week of December 2-8, 2013, at least 17 persons suffered in the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. Of them, 12 persons were killed, and 5 persons were wounded. In Dagestani Chontaul village, policemen detain about 80 mosque-goers, local reports
In the village of Chontaul of the Kizilyurt District, about 80 mosque-goers were detained during a special operation conducted by the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). Irina Nilisavlevich, 54, a resident of Sochi, has filed a complaint against physicians of City Hospital No. 4. She complains about unlawful refusal to provide her medical care after the road traffic accident. On December 6, Yunus-Bek Evkurov, the head of Ingushetia, passed on the bust of Sulambek Oskanov, Major General of Aviation, the first Hero of the Russian Federation, for eternal keeping to the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War (World War II) on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow. In 1992, Sulambek Oskanov gave his lives to prevent an aircraft crash on a village in the Lipetsk Region.
