Dagestan: detained residents of Semender released
All the residents of the settlement of Semender in the Kirov District of Makhachkala, detained on March 3, are back at large, said the police.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported, referring to local residents, that on March 3, up to 30 people were detained in Semender; a 15-year-old girl among them. The police did not confirm any power operation there.
"All the detained citizens have been released after checking their passports," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the Kirov ROVD (District Interior Division) of Makhachkala, noting that on March 3 operative-search operations were conducted in the settlement.
The representative of the Dagestani Regional Public Organization (DRPO) "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy), who earlier reported about the detention of the above minor, has also confirmed that all the persons brought on March 3 into the "Semender" lodge hall, have been released, adding that no complaints were received by the DRPO about the actions of power agents.
