During the week of September 29-October 5, 2014, at least 24 persons fell victim to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. Of them, 11 persons were killed, and 13 others were wounded. As a result of the suicide bombing committed in Grozny, ten injured persons are brought to City Hospital No. 9, and doctors assess their condition as stable. In total, the suicide bombing killed five persons and injured 12 others, said the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

In Dagestan, the closure of the Gimry Tunnel by law enforcers is "selective" in nature. According to local residents, cars of officials of the administrations and even taxis are free to move through the tunnel, which is officially closed, while ambulance cars and cars of ordinary villagers are not allowed to enter the Gimry Tunnel.

Some 195,000 Muslim believers took part in celebrating the Eid al-Adha in Moscow and Moscow Region – 130,000 and 65,000, accordingly. The Ministry of Transport of the Chechen Republic has concluded a contract for purchasing five special low-floor buses for transportation of wheelchair users. Officials expect that the new vehicles are to make the urban environment more accessible to persons with disabilities.
