The European Court of Human Rights has found violations of the rights of relatives of the people killed and injured in the seizure of the Beslan school in 2004 and awarded 409 complainants the compensation in the amount of 2,955,000 euros and 88,000 euros to recover court costs.

The conflict of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov with Igor Sechin, Director of the “Rosneft” Corporation, has escalated, which resulted in the appearance of a version of the "Chechen trace" in the Saint Petersburg terror act, the Financial Times newspaper has reported. A Turkish court has ruled to place behind bars Djamalali Gadjiev, a native of Chechnya, detained on April 4 on the Syrian-Turkish border. According to law enforcers, Gadjiev took part in warfare for the "Islamic State" (IS), a terrorist organization, banned in Russia by the court.

The Oslo District Court pronounced the decision to arrest for two weeks a 17-year-old Russian citizen, a native of Ingushetia, who was detained with an improvised explosive device. The young man does not admit his guilt and involvement in terrorist activities. This was reported by his advocate.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Krasnodar Territory has submitted to the Presidium of the Regional Court a proposal with a request to change the verdict to Mark Yavorsky, a visually impaired young man from Sochi, sentenced for 7.5 years of imprisonment on the charge of involvement in a double murder. The verdict has been challenged after the mother of the sentenced young man appealed to the Prosecutor's Office.

During the debate at the trial, Abdusalam Ramazanov, a native of the Tsuntin District of Dagestan, accused of trying to join militants in Syria, has pleaded not guilty. His defence has pointed to the absence of any evidence in the case, other than testimony of a witness, and requested the court to acquit the defendant. This was reported by an advocate of the defendant.

A rally, dedicated to the international liberation day of prisoners of fascist concentration camps, was held today in Volgograd in Heroes Alley. According to the regional administration, it was 60 people strong – former prisoners of concentration camps, officials and schoolchildren.
