South Ossetia will consider the issue on recognition of the Catalonia's independence. This was announced by Dmitry Medoev, South-Ossetian Minister of Foreign Affairs, in connection with the resolution on independence from Spain adopted by the Parliament of Catalonia on October 27.

Alim Chervaev, a resident of Mozdok, who was kidnapped by armed people from the city marketplace on October 26, is kept at the temporary isolation facility (known as IVS) of the Mozdok District, his relatives have reported. Power agents assert that they had found firearms and drugs on him, but his friends and relatives are sure that he is innocent.

The situation with people's disappearances in Chechnya is similar to the one observed during the second Chechen campaign, and kidnappings committed by law enforcers have turned into a system, rights defenders assert.
