Blogger Eldar Iraziev leaves Dagestan after beating

Eldar Iraziev, who was beaten up in Makhachkala and received a trauma, has left the republic to undergo treatment outside it, Shamil Khadulaev, the head of the coordination council of non-commercial organizations of Dagestan, has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 26, it became known that Eldar Iraziev, a comic actor and a blogger, was three days earlier beaten up in Makhachkala. According to sources, the reason for the attack on the blogger was in his statements.

Eldar Iraziev has left for treatment outside Dagestan, Shamil Khadulaev has added, explaining that Eldar Iraziev received an eye trauma during the beating; however, Mr Khadulaev refused to specify the place, where the blogger went, the "Makhachkala Izvestia" reports.

So far, Eldar Iraziev himself has not commented on this information.
