Head of Dagestan opposed unilateral transfer of land to Chechnya

Azerbaijan claims shelling of village in conflict zone

Speaker of Chechen Parliament reprimands head of Dagestani Kizlyar District for sign demolition
Residents of the Kizlyar District have dismantled road signs on the border with Chechnya due to negligence of local authorities, Magomed Daudov, Speaker of the Chechen Parliament, has stated and assured residents of the district that they could only dismantle the remaining road signs only "over his dead body."
