Prosecutor's office of Chechnya filed a lawsuit against an active rebel Anwar Labazanov, an alleged spokesman of the Caucasian insurgents' leader Doku Umarov, for incitement to national or religious hatred or enmity. Video speech titled "Reminder for militiaman" made by Labazanov and posted on a rebel website encouraged prosecution.

Patients of the Chechen health care institutions assert that despite their medical insurances they have to pay for medical services. According to the ministry of health of Chechnya, about 90% of residents in the region carry the mandatory medical insurances (MMI) to date.

Isa Yamadaev is pleased with the ruling of the Moscow region court that has sentenced today Khavazha Yusupov, a native of Chechnya charged with trying to assassinate Yamadaev in the summer of 2009. After sentencing, the businessman himself said this, having pointed out that only the principal offender was penalized.

On June 1, 2010 in the centre of Grozny, the capital of Chechnya, in the Journalists Mini-Park, women, whose relatives disappeared in 2000-2010, held a picket. Their action was dated to the International Children's Day. Over 50 women held photos of their sons, brothers and fathers. The regional organization named "Parents' Alarm" was the organizer of the action.

Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov denies his involvement in abductions and murder occurring in the republic and declares that "the only enemies he recognizes and intends to 'annihilate' are the enemies of Islam, to whom he refers the Wahhabi insurgents who are hiding in forests. Also, Kadyrov is convinced that Sharia is above the laws of the Russian Federation.

The information about liquidation of the failed suicide-bomber gives rise to doubts among local human rights activists.
