An armed attack upon the servicemen of a unit of federal military forces took place tonight in Urus-Martan foothill district of Chechnya. One of the servicemen got wounded in his head. Security officials are currently in search of the attackers.

A military range located to Kurs district of Stavropol region where an active process of utilization of ammunition has been going on latterly causes serious problems for the residents of Nadterechny and Naur districts of Chechen Republic. Residents of these districts have already submitted the respective statement to the authorities of the republic. A delegation of the republican Parliament has visited these districts to familiarize with the situation.

A resident of Grozny died on November, 22, from a heart attack after a quarrel with the personnel of State Traffic Safety Inspectorate who ordered the elderly man to remove the tinting from his car glasses immediately. European Court of Human Rights has put two questions to the Russian Federation on the case of Zara Murtazaliyeva, native of Chechnya sentenced to 8,5 years of custody and serving her penalty in a prison camp of Mordovia, concerning observation of clause 6 of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. This news was reported by Kirill Koroteyev, Zara Murtazaliyeva's attorney.

A resident of Grozny, father of one of the participants of the armed clash, which burst out at night on November 14 in the Staropromyslovskiy District of Grozny, where a Chechen militia officer was shot dead, was captured by militiamen and kept in custody for about 24 hours.
