A new website named "Never-to-be-forgotten" appeared on the Internet; its topics are the issues relating to Stalin's deportation. The site was launched by the Archive Department of the Chechen Government and the Committee on Youth Matters with the support of the republic's parliament. It took them about four months to start a new web portal; and its database already keeps 60,000 deportees' personal files.

The judge has satisfied the petition of the defence of Apti and Aishat Magmadova, accused of recruiting a citizen of Lithuania for committing a terror act in Moscow, to summon the key witnesses in the case, one of whom is Egle Kusaite. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it by Tamara Magmadova, mother of Apti and Aishat.

The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) in Strasbourg has found the Russian authorities guilty of disappearance of two residents of Chechnya in 2002 and fined Russia by 152,500 euros.

Two women-residents of Chechnya, whose relatives thought them to have been kidnapped, were found by Chechen law enforcers in North Ossetia. Such incidents, according to a MIA officer, are used by some media and human rights organizations for allegations that kidnappings continue in Chechnya.
