Chechen authorities report explosions of two suicide bombers at detention attempt in Grozny

As announced by the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, two suicide bombers blew themselves up today in Grozny at an attempt to detain them in a city private house.

According to his version, militiamen had blocked militants in the Lenin District of Grozny at No. 46 Tukhachevsky Street. An offer to surrender was responded by fire; then, they blew them up and died.

The RIA "Novosti" adds that for the time of the special operation inhabitants of the house were evacuated, and none of them suffered.

Alvi Karimov, press secretary of the head of Chechnya has explained that at inspection of the dead bodies belts stuffed with explosives were found, the "Russian News Service" reports.

One of the casualties has been identified as Ibragim Gakaev. At examining the apartment, power agents found ready-to-use explosive devices.
