As stated today by Svetlana Gannushkina, Chair of the Committee "Civil Assistance", at a press conference in Moscow, the acquitting verdict passed to Nazir Guliev, a former employee of the Ingush MIA, is illegitimate. According to her version, Guliev should have not been acquitted and released from liability.

Today, the Moscow City Court (MCC) has rejected the complaint lodged by Andrei Krasnenkov, the legal representative of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, against the decision of the Tver District Court to refuse to recover from the Human Rights Centre "Memorial" of 500,000 roubles of compensation under the case of defending the honour, dignity and business reputation.

In the vicinities of the Tbilisi International Airport, a grave of four Chechens, killed during a special operation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and the Ministry of Defence of Georgia in August 2012, was found. The killed men were buried in a narrow 9-meter pit. One of them Khamzhuev pleaded guilty in part, and the second defendant Umaev denied his guilt in full. This was reported by Abusupyan Gaitaev, a representative of the defence.

Today, the court sentenced Ilyas Nalgiev, the former head of the criminal police of Karabulak, to eight years to be served in the high security colony in the case of torture, used against Zelimkhan Chitigov, a refugee from Chechnya. Nazir Guliev, the former staff member of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Ingushetia, who was also the figurant of the case, was acquitted by the court.
