The editorial office of the newspaper "Novaya Gazeta" has appealed to the Russian presidential administration and the law enforcement bodies with a request to treat the article "US uses pawns" published by the information agency "Grozny-Inform" as a threat to the safety of Elena Milashina, a special correspondent of the "Novaya Gazeta".

The charges in the case of the armed attack on the town of Budyonnovsk in 1995 are filed against Ramzan Belyalov and Magomed Mazdaev, two natives of Chechnya. Today, investigators have reported that one of them was detained by Stavropol law enforcers in Gudermes on June 2.

An advocate of Khavazh Temirsultanov, a native of Chechnya, accused of robbing a pensioner in Sochi, has filed a complaint to the court. In Belgium, the police detained 16 natives of Chechnya on suspicion of extremist activities. Two of the detainees were arrested on charges of recruiting mercenaries to take part in the combat actions in Syria. The other detainees were released.
