The People's Party of South Ossetia is concerned about the statement of President Eduard Kokoity about the deadline set up for citizens of South Ossetia in changing their passports: it is planned to terminate the procedure next year, while the Party demands to prolong the term. The statement of the Party notes that the passport exchange campaign was conceived with the aim to deprive the citizens viewed as dangerous for the authorities of their citizenship and, accordingly, of their suffrage.
