In Azerbaijan, Ilgar Mamedov, the leader of the civil movement "Republican Alternative" (ReAl), who has been sentenced to seven years of imprisonment, is being kept in the SIZO (pre-trial prison) in the same conditions as other prisoners.

Azerbaijan has started the trial of the case against Gasan Guseinli, the head of the nongovernmental organization (NGO) named "Intellectual Citizen" Educative Centre, located in the city of Ganja (Gandzha). Gasan Guseinli is accused of hooliganism.

At night of Thursday, in the Cossack village of Suvorovskaya of the Predgorny District of the Stavropol Territory, a grenade blew up in the yard of the house belonging to a car service director.
