Relatives of Arthur Gatagazhev killed in Ingushetia detained on suspicion of drug trafficking

Brothers of Arthur Gatagazhev, who was killed in the special operation conducted on May 24 in the village of Sagopshi in Ingushetia, have been detained in Malgobek on suspicion of drug trafficking. The mother of the detainees claims that drugs were planted to their car during the search carried out by agents of the secret services.

In the morning of May 24, the special operation was conducted in the village Sagopshi, in a private house belonging to a policeman. As a result, seven persons were killed. According to law enforcers, the number of the killed persons includes a man identified as Arthur Gatagazhev, the emir of the Ingush militants. According to an official from the administration of the Ingush leader, the killed persons were plotting a series of terror acts on the Day of Republic in Ingushetia.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Patimat Kuzikova, the mother of Arthur Gatagazhev, the Judge fined her 500 roubles, and her sons were detained for four days. After that, the court pronounced the pre-trial measure against them in the form of one-month arrest. Patimat Kuzikova has also added that her sons are not allowed to be visited by an advocate for more than four days.

According to the detainees' mother, after Arthur Gatagazhev was put on the federal wanted list (Arthur Gatagazhev was put on the federal wanted list in 2009, the "Lifenews" reports with reference to the secret services), Zurab and Ibragim Gatagazhev left the republic and moved to Samara for permanent residence.
