ICRF: eight power agents suffered from two explosions in Ingushetia

Three soldiers and five policemen were wounded by explosions in the Sunzha District of Ingushetia; they were hospitalized. One of the soldiers died in the hospital, the republic's law enforcement bodies have reported.

On June 2, when a military motor convoy moved on the highway in the Sunzha District, an explosion occurred. When an operative group reached the venue, the second explosion was triggered, injuring three policemen.

Later, a source from the Sunzha ROVD (District Interior Division) said that the above two explosions injured five policemen and a soldier, who lost his leg in the explosion. However, Alikhan Kuzgov, the Secretary of the Ingush Security Council, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that in total five persons were wounded; and none of them was seriously hurt.

Investigating bodies opened a criminal case under Article 317 (assault on life of law enforcers) of the Russian Criminal Code. The website of the Investigating Department for Ingushetia of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) reports that investigative actions are underway aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime.
