NKR doctors urge authorities to introduce state of emergency because of coronavirus
More than 50 medics have signed a petition calling to announce the state of emergency in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) due to the worsening situation with coronavirus. Mary Grigoryan, the author of the petition, believes that the regional authorities underestimate the danger.

Believers of Northern Caucasus perform Friday namaz outside mosques
Muslims of Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria and Chechnya held their Friday namaz (prayer) at home, as mosques are under quarantine because of coronavirus. Some believers hoped to get to the mosque today – they are worried that they have to violate the prescription of compulsory collective prayers.

Mufti of Dagestan urged believers to pray at home

Defence demands to release Armenian ex-president Kocharyan from SIZO
Advocates of the second president of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan have lodged lawsuits demanding to release their client from SIZO (pre-trial prison) before the end of the pandemic. Azerbaijan toughens quarantine regime
Starting from April 9, residents of Azerbaijan who have no signed labour contracts with employers and workers over 65 years old may not leave their homes for the period of quarantine. Managers of companies should reduce the number of employees at working places to the required minimum.
