Putin orders Kozak to report about construction of Olympic facilities every two weeks

Monument opened in south-eastern Chechnya to young women who perished during the Caucasian War
On September 15, the Day of the Chechen Woman, an opening ceremony of the memorial in honour of the 46 girls who were lost in 1819 in the capture of the village of Dadi-Yurt, Chechnya, was held in the Gudermes District of the republic.

Moscow court leaves Djabrail Makhmudov, figurant in Politkovskaya's murder case, in custody

In Chechnya, three policemen killed in suicide bombing

The murder of Dmitry Vishernev, a Russian diplomat, committed in the city of Sukhumi, could be caused by his involvement in major construction contracts and by his informal search for a Russian businessman, who disappeared in autumn of 2012. This was reported by sources from investigating bodies.
