MIA source reports about organizers of kidnapping and those who planted drugs on Imam of Kislovodsk, advocate says
A policeman, who preferred to remain anonymous had delivered to the wife of the Kislovodsk Imam Kurman-Ali Baichorov, accused of drug possession, a written statement about the organizers of his kidnapping and those who planted drugs on him and initiated his criminal prosecution, said Imam's advocate. The defence has again petitioned to resume the judicial investigation, but the court denied the petition.
At the pleadings that began on December 2, the floor was given to the prosecutor, who demanded 5 years in prison a fine of 100,000 roubles for Baichorov. The defence said that they have a witness, an employee of the Chief Department of the MIA for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), ready to testify in court about the falsification of evidence, but the court refused to restart the judicial investigation.
Earlier, the Imam stated that he had fallen victim to the people who had kidnapped him and planted drugs on him, naming an employee of the FSB Filatov, in respect of which the court sent materials to the ICRF for checking.
A man came to the house of the Imam of Kislovodsk, who introduced himself as an employee of the security bodies and handed over to Fatima Alieva, the wife of the religious leader, a message with the names of some employees of the Chief Department of the MIA for the NCFD, who had organized the kidnapping of Baichorov, planted narcotic drugs on him and initiated his criminal prosecution, the Alaudi Musaev told "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
