Opposition activists call on EU to apply sanctions to Armenian authorities

Arrest of figurants in Nemtsov murder case extended until May 28
Today, the Moscow City Court (MCC) has ruled to extend the arrest of five figurants in Boris Nemtsov murder case - Zaur Dadaev, Anzor Gubashev, Khamzat Bakhaev, Shagid Gubashev and Tamerlan Eskerkhanov. Vyacheslav Bitarov dismisses government of North Ossetia
Today, Vyacheslav Bitarov, the acting head of North Ossetia, has signed a decree on the resignation of the government of North Ossetia. Armenia holds action in support of victims of Spitak earthquake

FSIN treats complaints about non-admission to Mukhammad Magomedov as unfounded
During a visit to the SIZO (pre-trial prison) of members of the Dagestani Public Oversight Commission (POC), activist Mukhammad Magomedov was at the investigator's office for interrogation. This was reported by Amirkhan Gasanov, the chief of the press service of the Department for Dagestan of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service (known as FSIN). According to Amirkhan Gasanov, members of the POC could wait until the completion of the interrogation, but they chose to send a complaint to the Prosecutor's Office.
