At trial in Gyumri, lawsuit against Russia voiced out

At the today's session of the court, which is considering the murder of the Armenian family by a Russian serviceman Valery Permyakov, the advocate of successors of the Avetisyan family has petitioned for lodging a civil lawsuit against the Russian Federation, which should bear, according to the claimants, responsibility for the mistakes of the command of the military base, which had led to the tragedy.

ECtHR finds Russia responsible for death of Manana Djabeliya

According to the decision of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), Russian authorities are obliged to pay 70,000 euros to the family of the citizen of Georgia Manana Djabeliya, who died in a Moscow detention centre for foreign nationals in 2006, the advocate of the Djabeliya family has announced today.

Source reports names of three men killed in Ingushetia

Sochi: residents of dilapidated houses demand new apartments

Three bosses of Kuban colony arrested under case of teenager's death

Investigators have charged three former top managers of the colony located in the town of Belorechensk, Krasnodar Territory (also called Kuban by the name of the main river), with abuse of power within the case of beating inmates, one of whom died. Earlier, seven employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service (known as FSIN) were arrested.

The “Caucasian Knot" publishes the agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, which was initialed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on August 8, 2025, through the mediation of US President Donald Trump.
