118 observers registered for NKR’s referendum
The number of citizens of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), included in the voter lists for the referendum on the new Constitution draft, has exceeded 102,000, but it is not final, said the Central Election Commission (CEC). "Green Patrol" announces creation of branch in Volgograd
Activists of the All-Russian public organization "Green Patrol" have announced the creation of a regional branch in Volgograd. The organization will launch a "hotline" for receiving complaints from residents of Volgograd, and start fighting illegal dumps in the region, said activists of the "Green Patrol".

AI calls on to revise verdict on "Nardaran case"
The advocates of Fariz Namazly, Yalchin Imanov, Nemat Kerimli and Fakhraddin Mekhtiev, defendants in the so-called "Nardaran case", have lodged an appeal complaint with a request to acquit their clients. The human rights organization Amnesty International (AI) has also urged to revise the verdict.

Defence of detained natives of Dagestan asserts that ammunition was planted on them
The Tagibekov brothers, natives of Dagestan, were detained on suspicion of illicit dealing with ammunition, after a search of their rented apartment in a Moscow suburb. According to the suspects and their relatives, the ammunition was planted in their apartment, the advocate of one of the brothers told the "Caucasian Knot".

Kadyrov bans Shiite self-torture rituals in Chechnya

Debt of Dagestani enterprises for electricity exceeds half billion roubles
As of January 1, the debt of industrial enterprises of Dagestan for electricity exceeded the amount of 92.2 million roubles, while the debt of non-industrial sector exceeded 412 million roubles. Residents of North Ossetia ask to identify priorities for improving residential districts
The government of North Ossetia has announced that the address list of works on improvement of households in the capital and regional centres of the republic will be formed on the results of public hearings prior to April 1.
