Azerbaijan accused Armenia of 125 bombardments per day
On January 10 and 11, during shelling on the contact line, Armenian militaries used sniper rifles, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated.
According to the MoD, within the last 24 hours, eight villages in the Agstafa, Gazakh, Tovuz and Gedabek Districts were shelled.
Nagorno-Karabakh is also regularly accusing Azerbaijan of shelling. On January 6, it announced 200 violations of the ceasefire in the period from December 31, 2017, to January 6, 2018.

Prosecution demands nine years in jail for Mikhail Balabanov for commissariat arson
At the Southern District Military Court, the prosecutor has demanded to sentence Mikhail Balabanov, 21, to nine years in jail on charges of preparing to set fire to the military commissariat (registration and enlistment office) in Nevinnomyssk. Balabanov's guilt has not been proven; there are signs of falsification in the case, his defence has pointed out, demanding to acquit the defendant.
