Religious leaders urge parties to Karabakh conflict to release captive civilians

Journalists claim absence of influential militants in Dagestan
Two persons wounded in a shootout between Valid Motsaev, the leader of the Khasavyurt militant grouping, and law enforcers start to recover, reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for Dagestan. HRC "Memorial": law enforcers confirm death of one of persons missing in Grozny
An investigator has reported that Ismali Bergoev, one of the persons detained in Grozny on December 17, 2016, died in a hospital three days later from his wounds. This was reported by rights defenders. According to their version, Ismali Bergoev fell victim to extrajudicial execution on January 26.

Law enforcers promise to verify claim about attempt to kidnap Imam's son in Dagestan
