Today, the Supreme Court of Dagestan has acquitted Mukhtar Agaev, an officer of the Dagestan Department of the Russian Federal Service for Drug Trafficking Control (RFSDTC), accused of organising an illegal armed formation (IAF) and attempt on Deputy of the National Assembly of Dagestan Shamol Isaev, on all indictment points. Agaev was set free in the courtroom and provided with the right for rehabilitation.

Today, at about 4 p.m., Gamzat Musaev, senior inspector of the Khasavyurt Prosecutor's Office, was assassinated. Eyewitnesses of the tragedy assert that he was shot dead by the employees of the STSI (State Traffic Safety Inspectorate), who were on duty at the entrance post to Makhachkala.
