HRC "Memorial" not yet decided on resuming work in Chechnya

Dagestan: trial on "Chernovik" case postponed
Today, another judicial session on charging 5 journalists of the Dagestan newspaper "Chernovik" under Article 282 of the Russian Criminal Code "Kindling national, racial or religious hostility" was to take place in Makhachkala. Court adjudges 70,000 roubles from HRC "Memorial" and Orlov in Kadyrov's favour
The court has satisfied the claim of President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov to the head of the HRC "Memorial" Oleg Orlov on defence of honour and dignity and ruled to collect 50,000 roubles from the HRC and 20,000 roubles personally from Orlov in favour of the claimant.
