President of Chechnya will not evidence at the trial on Israilov's murder

Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov will not go to Vienna to the trial on the murder in Austria of his former bodyguard Umar Israilov. This was stated by Andrei Krasnenkov, Kadyrov's advocate. In his opinion, the investigation has no proofs of President's involvement in the murder. However, the human rights activists, engaged in monitoring the litigation, are convinced that Kadyrov shall evidence and point to strong arguments present in case materials.

Chechen journalists receive special prize of TV Festival "Hero of Our Time"

On November 27, Rostov-on-Don closed the "Hero of Our Time" festival of socially relevant television programmes and TV films. It was held for the fourth time by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), and for the first time - in the south of Russia. A series of programmes made by Chechen journalists by the 65th Victory Anniversary was specially marked.

Official Yerevan refuses from comments on WikiLeaks publications

The official Yerevan has refused to comment on the document on arms supplies to Iran by Armenia, made through bypassing the international sanctions; the document was posted on the WikiLeaks website. Experts, in their turn, believe that appearance of a large number of official diplomatic documents on WikiLeaks is a result of internal US squabbles.

GPO: farm belonging to mother of main suspect in Kuschevskaya case received state funds under faked data

In the course of a check conducted in the village of Kuschevskaya, the Krasnodar Territorial Prosecutor's Office revealed violations at allocation of subsidies to one of the agrarian farms, located in the village - the Limited Liability Company (LLC) "Artex-Agro", managed by Nadezhda Tsapok - mother of Sergey Tsapok, a suspect of organizing the awful massacre. Militants leave Chechen mountains, local authorities assert

In Chechnya, power agents do not register any militants' mobile or radio talks in one of the most troubled regions of Chechnya - the Vedeno District. On this basis, local authorities have concluded that rebels had left the district.
