Resident of Dagestan reports kidnapping of his son
On March 9, unidentified armed persons in masks abducted Rustam Kurbanaliev, born in 1971, a resident of the village of Sultanyangiyurt, Kizilyurt District of Dagestan. Dagestani rights defenders were informed about it by his father Kurbanali Kurbanaliev.

In Dagestan, roundtable participants state poor efficiency of Kremlin's regional policy

Security measures around football match in Grozny created much inconvenience, townspeople say
The match between the 2002 Brazil national team and the team formed personally by Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya and president of the "Terek" FC, was held under tight guards and unprecedented security measures.
