In Armenia, four parties express support for President Serzh Sargsyan at election

The "National Unity" Party, the "Social Democrat Hanchakyan Party", the "Constitutional Law Union" Party and the "Christian Democratic Union" Party have expressed their support for the candidacy of incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan at the presidential election.

The Social Democrat Hanchakyan Party made the decision, taking into account "the reforms held by the incumbent President", "his proven political will to fight corruption" and "steps to end political repression against the opposition".

"The 'Social Democrat Hanchakyan Party' hopes that in the event of his re-election, Serzh Sargsyan will take all measures to eliminate monopolies, fight against the oligarchs, separate business and politics," the statement emphasizes.

The statement on support for the candidacy of incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan at the election of January 7 was made by the "National Unity" Party, the "Constitutional Law Union" Party and the "Christian Democratic Union" Party.
