70 persons detained by power agents in Triumphal Square, opposition asserts
In Moscow, Triumphal Square hosted an unsanctioned rally of people who wanted to express their discontent with the results of the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the Sixth Convocation. According to the preliminary information of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), about 30 persons were detained during the rally; the opposition reports that policemen detained 70 persons.

Dagestani native claims kidnapping of his brother
On December 4, unidentified persons kidnapped Magomed Mutalibov, born in 1985, a resident of the Suleiman-Stalskiy District of Dagestan. According to his brother Nazim Mutalibov, power agents are involved in the kidnapping.

In Sochi, copies of election protocols stolen from city CPRF office
At night on December 6, the doors of two rooms of the city office of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), located on the ground floor of the five-storey apartment building at 13 Gorky Lane, were broken. Copies of protocols of the Sochi polling stations at the December 4 State Duma elections were stolen from the office.

Bill on open-type prison drafted in Georgia
The Georgian MPs have been presented a new bill, under which the country will have an open-type correction facility. As stated by Khatuna Kalmakhelidze, Minister for Correction, Probation and Legal Assistance of Georgia, it would be "a prison without bars."
